Mitsubishi Imaging Inc., in full compliance with the new OSHA/GHS /HCS regulations, has updated all relevant MSDS documents to the new SDS document format and posted them here.

New GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Clarification) / HCS (Hazard Communication Standard) regulations require all chemistry manufacturers, dealers and distributors to update formerly called MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) documents to the newly defined SDS (Safety Data Sheets) as of June 1, 2015 production.

In addition, new GHG guidelines require all labels to include the following information:

Symbols (Pictograms): These symbols will relay all health, physical and environmental hazards.

Signal Words: These words such as "warning" and "danger" will emphasize chemical hazards and severity.

Hazard Statement: These will be standard phrases given to each hazard class that will describe the nature of the hazards.

Mitsubishi Imaging Inc. has updated all relevant label information in accordance with these new guidelines. Any production occurring on or after June 1, 2015, will incorporate new labels and label information on containers and cartons. In accordance with the same regulations, chemistry produced before June 1, 2015, can be sold by Mitsubishi Imaging Inc. or a dealer, distributor, etc. of Mitsubishi Imaging with the existing label and label information until December 1, 2015. At that time, all labels and label information needs to be updated.

Please contact Mitsubishi Imaging Inc. at 800-765-9384 x13268 with questions regarding these changes.
