Mitsubishi Paper Mills, Ltd. Reaches Distribution Agreement with Diversified Imaging Supply

Mitsubishi Paper Mills, Ltd. has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Diversified Imaging Supply, under which Diversified will be the master importer for its Color Photographic Paper in the United States of America. Diversified Imaging Supply is a well-known distributor to the photographic market and can offer competitive pricing while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Previous to this agreement, Mitsubishi Paper Mills had been distributing the photographic products through its subsidiary Mitsubishi Imaging (MPM), Inc. This change will allow Mitsubishi Imaging to focus on growing its Graphics Arts and Inkjet products.

“Our business in Graphic Arts and Inkjet is growing steadily,” said Dr. Hiroshi Tomimasu, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Imaging, “This transition means we can put more resources toward the sales of these products.”

Mitsubishi Paper Mills is committed to continue to supply Silver Halide Color photographic paper to the U.S. Market. These photographic papers, in a variety of sizes and surfaces, meet the needs of both professional portrait labs and the amateur photo finishing minilabs.

“We are already in the process of ordering Mitsubishi paper directly from Japan,” said Darrel Benton, President of Diversified Imaging Supply, “and we currently have a large supply of all sizes to ensure that we are well prepared to handle this transition.”
