Mitsubishi Imaging Launches a New Luster Surface for Diamond Jet Photograde Paper

Professional photographers are now able to achieve the same quality they expect from conventional prints, using inkjet technology, thanks to the new Diamond Jet Photo Luster Heavyweight (10mil) from Mitsubishi Imaging (MPM), Inc.

This new product release is targeted at the professional photography market. It allows professional photographers to print high quality enlargements using inkjet technology.

The new Luster product is coated with Mitsubishi’s microporous technology providing it with advantages such as waster resistance, instant dry for immediate handling, and cross platform compatibility. This includes the latest Epson printers with the Ultrachrome K3 inks that are the most common printers in this market.

“Professional Photographers moving to inkjet technology need a product like the Diamond Jet Luster Finish,” said Chip Dorsey, Vice President Digital Imaging, “It provides them with the same look and feel their customers demand in traditional silver halide photographic prints.”

Diamond Jet Photo Luster Heavyweight is a 10mil Photo paper available through Mitsubishi Imaging (MPM), Inc. The product comes in 100-foot rolls with widths of 17, 24, 36 or 44 inches.
